A free ship of the top tier you can buy, matched to your fleet's classes when it can be.

BONUS CARDS
After a battle you still pick one of three cards, but one of them may now be a purple BONUS: a one-time boost used up as soon as you take it. Bonus cards turn up more often after a loss, which gives a struggling run a way back.
Three fleet ships gain 1 XP and +1/+1. It picks the ships closest to their next level.
+7 scrap next round.
Next round's shipyard shows higher-tier ships, with 2 free rerolls that stay higher-tier.
A rare tier 4 ship. From round 5, when you have room in your fleet or bench.
Repairs 1 hull point. Only offered after a loss.
NEW SHIPS
Each one brings a mechanic the game didn't have before. "Every 5T" means it attacks once every 5 ticks.
While it's in your fleet (not the bench), it earns +1 scrap every round.
- LV2+3 scrap every round
- LV3+5 scrap every round
Shots set the target burning: 1 damage a tick for 3 ticks, straight through shields.
- LV2Burns for 2 a tick
- LV3Hits the front 2 enemies
Cursed ships can't be healed and can't rebuild for the rest of the battle. A hard answer to Revenants and Void life-steal.
- LV2Cursed ships lose 1 ATK
- LV3Curses the front 2 enemies

- LV3Splashes 2 ships behind
When it destroys a real ship, it fires again next tick.

- LV2Battle start: allies 2 ticks sooner
- LV3Speeds allies 2 ticks per attack
PROTOTYPES (TIER 4)
Experimental ships with a gold P tag. They never appear in the shipyard; the only way to get one is the Prototype bonus card. You won't get the same one twice until you own all five.
Piercing shots hit every enemy at once.

- LV3Fires 2 ticks faster
Takes 2 less damage from every hit and hits back for 3.
- LV2+10 HP

NEW RELICS
IN BATTLE
Artillery attacks set their main target burning.
Your starting front ship takes 2 less damage per hit (at least 1).
Level 3 ships get +3 ATK and +6 HP.
When you lose your first ship, the rest attack 1 tick faster for the rest of the fight.
When you're down to your last ship, the first ship on your bench warps in with your fleet's bonuses.
IN THE SHIPYARD
+1 scrap next round for each enemy ship you destroyed (up to 3).
+4 scrap the round after a loss.
Your first 2 rerolls each round are free.
SHIPYARD EVENTS
From round 2, about one round in three opens with an event. It's shown in the info panel at the bottom of the shop.
Every ship costs 2 scrap this round.
+3 scrap this round.
One ship is already level 2 (+3/+3). It costs 5 and has a gold LV2 tag. Freeze it to keep it.
One ship is a tier above what the shop would normally sell. Rounds 2–4 only.
2 free rerolls this round.
BALANCE
EASIER OPENING ROUNDS
Bot opponents shop almost perfectly from round 1, which made the start of a run feel harsh. Half of round 1 bots now open with one ship fewer, and every bot gets 1 less scrap in rounds 2 and 3. To keep runs about as hard overall, bots get their late-game bonus scrap a little sooner (+1 from round 8, +2 from 11, +3 from 14).
| SIMULATED WIN RATE | ROUND 1 | ROUND 2 | ROUND 3 | ROUND 4+ |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Before | 50% | 49% | 49% | ~50% |
| After | 67% | 59% | 54% | ~51% |
Win rates are for a player who shops as well as the bots, over 2,000 simulated battles per round.
COMMANDERS & FACTIONS
| CHANGE | BEFORE | AFTER |
|---|---|---|
| Juno · DEEP SCAN | Reroll with higher-tier ships only (one tier above the round's limit) | Reroll with no tier 1 ships, never above the round's limit |
| Slurms · FEED | 1 scrap | 2 scrap |
| M1TCHY · Veteran Crews | All ships +1 HP; level 2+ also +1 ATK, +2 HP | Level 2+ ships +1 ATK, +2 HP |
| Concord synergy (3) | +2 HP | +1 ATK, +3 HP |
| Concord synergy (5) | +2 HP, front 2 shielded | +1 ATK, +4 HP, front 2 shielded |
| Void synergy (3+) | Heal 50% / 70% of damage | Also +2 HP for Void ships |
Bot opponents now use their commander's shop power every round too. That's what showed Deep Scan was far ahead: with it, Control finished 55% of simulated runs. After these changes every play style finishes between 16% and 24% of runs.
SHIP CHANGES
- Siege Platform: HP 10 → 12.
- Every new ship and prototype was tuned through repeated battle simulations. Tier 1–3 ships sit within a few points of their tier's average; prototypes are clearly stronger than tier 3 on purpose.
INTERFACE
- A short message when the shop opens tells you what just happened: scrap from bounties or insurance, a new recruit, or drills that levelled your ships.
- The reroll button shows free rerolls left (FREE ROLL x2).
- Battles show burn damage in orange, plus CURSED, HASTE, RALLY and RESERVE labels. Labels on the same ship stack instead of overlapping.
- Fleet Archive: a 7-column ship grid, pages for relics and bonus cards, and new terms for Burn, Curse, Haste, Splash and Scrap.

VOID FACTION
A third faction built around life-steal, Echoes and drain. It brought the game to 35 ships and 10 commanders, with Nihl (Void Oracle) and Tess (Chief Engineer).
COMPLETION TUNING
Bots got their mid-game bonus scrap later, and M1TCHY (Veteran Crews) and Juno (Jamming Field, Repair Protocols) were buffed so every play style can finish a run.
OWNED SHIPS IN THE SHOP
Shop cards glow green with an OWN tag when buying merges into a ship you have, or show MAX when your copy is already level 3.
